Michael served for more than 20 years in the U.S. Army. He then worked for 9 years as a consultant to the Department of Defense while also building and managing a residential real estate practice and portfolio. Michael has managed a portfolio of residential real estate for 16 years and was a salesperson for Hunt Real Estate/ERA prior to opening Lake and Village Realty LLC in the Village of Skaneateles.
Johan Visser is a real estate salesperson in the State of New York and an independent contractor with Lake & Village Realty LLC. His real estate activities, which began in 2002, include property management as well as opportunistic residential real estate investments that create value.
In addition to his current work in real estate, he works with Novus Aviation Capital as a non-exclusive independent advisor. Prior to his current positions, he worked 16.5 years with J.P. Morgan, where his most recent responsibilities included origination and structuring of aviation ABS, airline EETCs, rail ETCs, aircraft portfolio-backed loans, export credit-guaranteed bonds, and U.S. government-guaranteed programs.
Mr. Visser holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe. He received his undergraduate from the Escuela Superior de Gestión Comercial y Marketing in Valencia, Spain (Diplomatura). He serves as Operations Manager and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Skaneateles Sailing Club in Skaneateles, New York, where he resides.
Sara grew up on Skaneateles Lake, where she developed the love and appreciation of its unsurpassed beauty as well as the surrounding Finger Lakes region. While living and working in Manhattan, she was fortunate enough to purchase the lake property that her parents had developed in the 1960s and where they had built their summer retreat.
A busy career in NY honed her management skills as well as developed a strong sense of customer satisfaction. Ultimately, Sara returned to Skaneateles to live full-time, subsequently offering the opportunity to raise daughter Agnes in this incredible environment. Her long-time interest in architecture and design led her to become a licensed real estate sales associate. Currently working with Lake and Village Realty, Sara offers experience and great knowledge of the area to both buyers and sellers.
